FEAR

I am screaming silently,
So no one listens.
I want to escape this reality,
But fear of abandonment makes me stay.
I am confused as to what to do,
So others choose my path for me.
I hate myself for not standing up for myself,
But fear of isolation makes me stay.
I cry my pain away on the inside,
So no one notices.
I dream of unimaginable, wonderful things,
But fear of insanity makes me stay.
